On Thursday 30 March 2023 at 3.30 pm in room 3, as part of the Environmental Hydraulics course held by prof. Michele Mossa (Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, curriculum Environmental Engineering - Bari), prof. Lucas Enrique Calvo Gobbetti of the Universidad Tecnológica de Panamá was held a seminar entitled Modeling the Filling/Dumping System of the Locks of the New Panama Canal. During the seminar, the history of the Panama Canal and some design elements of the hydraulic system of the new locks of the Panama Canal were briefly presented.
