Photo exhibition of floods in Bari

The Department of Water Engineering and Chemistry of the Technical University of Bari, in cooperation with the Province of Bari, organized a photo exhibition on historical and more recent floods of Bari. Images from the private collection of prof. Carmelo Calò Carducci, the State Archive of Bari, some books of Dr. Vito Antonio Melchiorre published by Adda Editore, the Fotostampa Ficarelli and Studio Mastrorilli were shown. In addition, images of the recent flood of 2005 were also shown.
The event had a cultural, historical and also an undoubted technical merit, as food for thought on issues related to sustainable urban drainage, in all its different aspects, from design to maintenance and management of hydraulic works.
