Prof. Michele Mossa was invited to give a presentation in the session "Science at the Heart of the State", titled "Scientific Research as a Driver of the Country's Development" – organized by the Italian Scientist Association (ISA), as part of the BioNext Research session at the Taranto Biotech Days. The event, held in the Great Hall of the Jonico Department, involved 600 professionals from the sector, including researchers, doctors, biologists, and engineers, with the goal of exploring the frontiers of cell therapy engineering for the treatment of chronic diseases.
During this session of the Taranto Biotech Days, four thematic panels were held with the participation of renowned international researchers and academic institutions, who delved into topics such as genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics, proteomics, as well as environmental protection.
The main objective was to inform the attendees about the latest developments in these fields, promoting the exchange of ideas and fostering new strategic collaborations to secure joint funding and accelerate innovation in the Biotech sector. This was a unique opportunity to promote cooperation between experts and build the future of medical research, even in Taranto.
